About Lawrence

With over a decade of experience in event and project management, Lawrence Edward Stevens II brings creativity, technical expertise, and genuine human connection to every endeavor. His journey began with a transformative internship in Auckland, New Zealand, coordinating the Kiwi Day Out Farewell Festival for the Rugby World Cup – an experience that sparked his passion for impactful events.

After graduating from Chapman University he began his career in NYC as an account coordinator at Bender/Helper Impact. Lawrence quickly advanced to event marketing roles with AR Global Investments and later tech companies Duuzra and Encore Group. His adaptability and technical acumen shone through as he managed over 150 events for clients including Morgan Stanley, Johnson & Johnson, and Kaiser Permanente.

At Corelation Inc., Lawrence evolved from Event Planner to Event Manager, masterfully navigating the shift to virtual and hybrid events during the pandemic. He orchestrated memorable experiences at iconic venues like the USS Midway Museum and House of Blues while fostering team connection through creative employee gatherings.

Today, Lawrence serves as Field Event Marketing Manager at HubSpot, bringing his blend of technical precision and human-centered approach to event strategy. As a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), he remains committed to exceeding industry standards while maintaining authenticity in his work.

Outside the office, you'll find Lawrence hiking with his dog Buddy, paddleboarding in San Diego's bays, advocating for tenant rights, or expressing his creative side through DJ'ing and producing EDM tracks.
