Corelation Client Conference
2020 - 2023

About the Client Conference

The Client Conference is a large gathering for all of Corelation's credit union clients, vendors and internal employees. Lawrence partnered with cross-functional teams internally, such as marketing, sales, CRMs, legal, and finance to successfully execute the event each year. The 9th Annual Client Conference was broadcast solely to a virtual audience. By May 2021, the 10th Annual Client Conference upgraded to a hybrid platform for both in-person and virtual attendees. That trajectory continued for both 2022 and 2023 as the event grew in size and continued to be hosted on-site at the Manchester Grand Hyatt in Downtown San Diego, CA and virtually through the CVent virtual platform. In May 2023, there were approximately 1,000 in-person and 500 virtual attendees total.

Graphic Recording Art Displays

From 2021-2023, Lawrence hired and collaborated with The Sketch Effect to bring a graphic recording artist on-site to illustrate select presentations from the Client Conference. The purpose was to show attendees key takeaway points in the form of artwork! Event guests and speakers alike loved these charming visual art displays and requested high-resolution copies post-event.

Vendor Showcase Procurement

The heart of the Client Conference is filled with the vibrant energy of the "Vendor Showcase," embodying Corelation's unwavering dedication to fortifying credit unions. This hub serves as a vital link, uniting Corelation's credit union clients with a diverse assembly of 84 vendor partners, both in-person at the Manchester Grand Hyatt and virtually through the user-friendly CVent platform.

Lawrence partnered with all 84 vendors to meticulously guide every detail. This included ensuring the on-site booths hummed with power, electricity, and Wi-Fi, while also skillfully arranging sponsorships, crafting eye-catching signage, and selecting thoughtful SWAG items that promoted the vendors' involvement at the event. Customized vendor SWAG items included aviator sunglasses, golf balls, golf divots, lanyards, journals, and pens.

Ambassador Leadership

Executing an event on this scale would not be possible without the assistance of fellow employees (referred to as "ambassadors"). From 2021-2023, Lawrence trained and prepared up to 75 ambassadors on how-to successfully handle assignments involving our clients and vendors at registration, our Vendor Showcase and with Q&A in the main General Session room and breakout session rooms. In order to prepare the ambassadors, Lawrence led multiple meetings and prepared documentation to make sure everyone understood their duties and had the opportunity to ask any questions.
